Itinerary

On arrival, our Tour Manager / Station Manager will meet and welcome you outside the airport. Later we proceed to the hotel and check-in.

Note: Joining direct passenger / NRI can check-in on your own at the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1500 hrs. We may have to proceed directly for dinner or Packed dinner will be provided in case of late arrivals of flight or long queue at the immigration.

Today, we go on a guided tour of Athens, we visit to the Acropolis, the crowning beauty and glory of Ancient Athens, the awesome Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens. Next, we drive to the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus, the Panathinaikon Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896), and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square. Later we drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, and National Library.

Today, we proceed to Meteora. Few kilometres northwest of the town of Kalabaka, the impressive rocks of Meteora are rising from the plains of Thessaly has been one of the most amazing places in Greece. The Greek word Meteora means “suspended in the air” and this phrase aptly describes these remarkable Greek Orthodox monasteries. We will visit 2 of the 14th century ethereal monasteries, situated above the unique and dramatic landscape of naturally formed high rocks.

Today, we proceed to Delphi and get immerse in the myths and monuments of classical Greece on this trip to Delphi. Explore the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of Delphi and learn how the city was considered the ‘Center of the World’ in ancient Greece. Stand in awe before the dramatically situated Temple of Apollo, and discover long-lost wonders at the Delphi Archeological Museum, including the Charioteer of Delphi and the Sphinx of Naxos. Later drive to Olympia.

Today, we proceed to the Olympia stadium and museum. In the western Peloponnese, in the "Valley of Gods", lies the most celebrated sanctuary of ancient Greece and the birthplace of the most important athletic mega-event of all times; the Olympic Games. At ancient Olympia standing the impressive ruins of the area where athletes trained. Next, we visit the museum and see some unbelievable sculptures such as the sculpted decoration of the temple of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the famous Hermis of Praxiteles and the statue of Nike of Paionios. Later, drive to Athens.

Today, we proceed to Port of Athens Mykonos to board a ferry to Santorini. On arrival, we proceed on a walking tour of Fira - beautiful capital of the island and the biggest and most cosmopolitan settlement of Santorini. Later visit a Winery.

Today, we proceed on a guided tour of Prehistoric Museum of Santorini through its most special findings. The selection brings into life Akrotiri of the 18th and 17th century BC, one of the most important centres of prehistoric Aegean Sea, unfold in front of you. Next, we will see Perissa - longest black beach of Santorini. Explore Megalochori, one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages on the island. We then stop at Prophet Elias point which is the highest point of Santorini with spectacular, panoramic views of the only habitable Caldera in the world and its surroundings - just the perfect location for pictures. Get a view of the Red Beach. Later, we proceed to the traditional village of Oia which is on the northern tip of the island, high on the cliff top from where you will get a breathtaking view of the stunning Sunset.

Today, proceed to Santorini airport for any early morning flight to Athens and then connect to next flight back home. Kindly spare a few minutes to share your feedback with your Tour Manager. Note: In major cities like Athens, there are parking restrictions for coaches and it is not possible to stop at all the places during the city tour. Tour Manager will try his/her best to stop the coach wherever possible for a photo stop

What your tour price does not include?

If you wish to travel in advance i.e., before the published departure date as mentioned in the brochure or like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable (suct to availability of seats for the given dates & ticket validity) which will be advised to you by our sales staff / travel agent. Kindly note, the deviation will be actioned only 30 Days prior to departure date.
Tipping is expected from anyone providing your service e.g., Coach Driver, Local Guides, Hotel & Restaurant staff etc. It is mandatory to tip a nominal amount of EUR 3 per person/per day. For the entire duration of this tour, which is 8 Days, the total Tips amount is EUR 24 per person to be paid to the Tour Manager on Day 01 of the tour.

Any increase in the airfare charged by the airline on your air ticket (presently calculated as on 1st August, 2024)

The tour cost does not include POE charges and passport charges.

For JOINING DIRECT CLIENTS:

Main Sector air tickets to reach the first overnight city and last departure city is not included in the Joining Direct package price.
Arrival and Departure Transfers are not included.
Tour Manager will meet the clients at the hotel.
Arrival and Departure flights should be booked according to the group flight timings incase there is any sightseeing involved on the first or last day of the itinerary to avoid missing any of the services.
